Gate Attendant - Closing Date 14th March 2022

The schools on the Perry Beeches campus (Arena Academy, Beeches Infant School, Beeches Junior School, Perry Beeches Nursery School and Priestley Smith Specialist (VI) School) would like to appoint a Gate Attendant to supervise the main gates and manage the entry of traffic at the start and end of the school day.

The successful candidate will be an employee of Beeches Junior School but will work on behalf of all five schools.  They will supervise the gates from 8.15am to 9.00am and 3.00pm to 3.30pm daily on a term time only contract.

We are looking for someone with a friendly, positive demeanour and the ability to consistently remain calm and assertive under pressure.

Lunchtime Supervisor - Closing Date 21st March 2022

We require lunchtime supervisors to start as soon as possible, to join our enthusiastic lunchtime team.  Beeches Junior School is a good school on a shared site with Perry Beeches Nursery School, Beeches Infant School, Arena Academy and Priestley Smith School.  We have excellent facilities and offer our children a range of play activities during their lunch break.

Beeches Junior School is a proudly anti-racist school and all members of staff are expected to support this ethos fully.

We welcome applications from enthusiastic and adaptable team-players who enjoy working with children.  Previous experience of working with children would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will assist with all aspects of our lunchtime operation, including supervising and interacting with children, leading play and sport activities with groups of children inside and outside, giving instructions and assisting children in the dining hall.
